Something comes off the truck and needs a label before it disappears onto a shelf. The printer is at the dock, the system is somewhere else, and there is no room for a PC in between.

Wifi in a warehouse
Reception at the back of a hall is not what it is at a desk. The bridge holds an outgoing connection and picks it up again by itself; a job sent while it was away waits in the queue and comes out when it returns. If the spot is truly hopeless, the bridge takes ethernet.

Bin labels, shelf labels, barcodes. The template says which roll it was drawn for.
One bridge per pair of printers
Wifi or ethernet. Goods in and the aisle can share one if they are close enough.
Your stock system
A WMS, a spreadsheet, a scanner app. If it can make an HTTP request, it can print.
Questions from the floor
Does the barcode scan?
It is drawn at the printer's own resolution, not scaled from a screen image. That is the difference between a code that scans first time and one that needs three tries.
Can I print a hundred labels in one go?
Yes. One call with a hundred rows. The counter keeps running across the batch.
What if the roll runs out halfway?
The job fails and says so, and you get a webhook. Print it again with the same key and you get the missing ones, not the whole batch twice.
Can I use my own label size?
Any roll that fits a LabelWriter. A template is drawn for one size on purpose — a design made for 25 mm does not just fit on 89 mm.
