Cookie policy

This page explains exactly what is stored in your browser when you visit instntprint.com, who puts it there and how long it stays. It is short because there is little to tell — and what there is, is here in full.
1.What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser, which the browser sends back on every next request. It is how a site remembers that you are signed in. Alongside cookies, a site can use local storage: the same idea, but it stays in the browser and is never sent along automatically.
We use both, and we list both here. Calling only one of them a cookie would be a technicality that hides something from you.
2.Why there are so few
Counting visits does not need a cookie. Our own counter sends one message per page view — which page, and which site sent you here — and nothing that sets you apart from anyone else. How many different people visited on a day is worked out on our server with a salt that changes daily, so a visit today cannot be tied to a visit tomorrow. Those counts are deleted after 90 days.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are optional analytics services. Both remain unloaded until you allow analytics.
3.What we place, and when
Necessary items support the service and remember your choice. Google Analytics and Clarity scripts are fetched only after analytics consent. Choosing marketing alone does not enable either service. Advertising consent remains disabled.

Analytics
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us improve the public website with visit statistics, heatmaps and session recordings. Only after you allow it. Clarity uses pseudonymous identifiers; this is not anonymous data.

We currently place no cookies in this category.
4.Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use cookie preferences in the footer to withdraw consent. We disable Google Analytics measurement and instruct Clarity to revoke consent and stop recording, including in other open tabs. Previously collected data is not erased by withdrawing consent.
Clarity receives a request to remove its cookies. Other existing cookies can remain; you can remove website data in your browser settings. Removing local storage also removes your choice. We ask again after 12 months or when the purposes change.
5.Changes to this policy
If we ever add something that stores data in your browser, it is added to the table above before it goes live, and the date at the top changes. If it falls outside the necessary category, we ask you again.
