What comes out of the printer, per trade
The same bridge and the same API — but what comes out of the printer, and what people worry about beforehand, differs per trade.
Hospitality
The kitchen printer that nobody has to restart
An order lands in the kitchen the moment it is placed, and a receipt comes out at the counter — from the same call, on two printers, without a PC between them.
Retail and counters
One counter, two printers, no computer
A receipt printer and a label printer on the same bridge. Your till software sends values; the server decides what goes on which roll.
E-commerce and fulfilment
A packing slip that prints itself when the order comes in
Give your shop an inbox address, map their fields to your template once, and the slip is on the packing table before anyone has opened a dashboard.
Warehouse and stock
Labels at the place where the goods are
A bridge per aisle instead of a cable to the office. Scan, print, stick — and the print history tells you afterwards exactly what came out where.
Events and cloakrooms
Two tickets, one number
One for the coat, one for the guest: the same ticket printed twice, one line apart. The number is what keeps the pair together.
Clinics, salons and labs
A sample label that is right the first time
Fixed sizes, a barcode that scans, and data that never leaves your own network if you run the server yourself.
